I bet red rose petals- maybe cranberries- arranged with scented geranium leaves would make a Christmasy looking ice ring perfect to float in the holiday punch bowl. I understand poinsettia is not nearly so poisonous as its reputation- but I wouldn&#039;t take the chance with any toxins melting into the punch. Best to reserve poinsettia for the  or ice-jacket to chill wine, vodka or large bottle of soda for the kids.</description>

I think I&#039;ll go for some bigger &#039;blossoms&#039; and freeze them in 2-liter plastic bottles this time--they&#039;ll hold up longer as a centerpiece indoors. I just love this idea, and I hope everyone tries to make at least one! Thanks for the lovely story, Debra.</description>
