Because "Happy Chickens" is something my aunt called my mom's chickens. She had been talking to a neighbor about them in a Chicago suburb where she lives. So I thought this to be very funny. My mom lives in eastern Iowa with a variety of chickens and roosters, including New Hampshires which are red and Bantys, small chickens. All of them are free range and able to run around wherever they might want to go. Which is why this makes them happy chickens like the ones at Rooms & Gardens. It makes me smile. On a simliar note my sister currently lives in LA so next time I visit I'll have to have her take me to this store! It sounds like one of my favorite kinds of places to shop!
