Here's an update from Debra. On Thursday night we made the entire menu that Martha suggested above. Couldn't find duck breasts at two grocery stores, but Whole Foods had duck leg-thigh pieces so that worked. An fortunately, I had a nice jar of Kathy Lafleur's delicious homemade fig jam in my fridge - perfect for the yummy sauce. My husband and kids loved, loved, loved the potato pie (kind of like a baked hashbrown pie, seasoned only with salt, pepper and a little olive oil). And most of us enjoyed the braised red cabbage (I even had it for leftovers last night).
One hour? No way! But 1-1/2 hours from start to finish.
.-= Debra´s last blog ..<a href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ShedStyleArchitectureInteriorsAndOrnamentationInTheGarden/~3/vZDm4vCm8WA/" rel="nofollow">A gentle plea for an excellent cup of tea</a> =-.

I can't believe you got to talk to Martha! I really love her. I have all my Martha Stewart Living back issues going back to 2001. Thanks for sharing your interview and her answers (I like the idea of brunches!).
