This is a fantastic post, Debra! I’m forwarding this on to my mother, who lives up north where it regularly dips into the teens, preventing her from using terra cotta (which cracks and crumbles). While we love the look of concrete, it’s nice to have the option of warmer hues in the garden. Thanks for sharing this excellent tip!
