Philadelphia Flower Show: Designer’s Studio
Saturday, March 2nd
12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th & Arch Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19107
The Designer’s Studio is a unique presentation stage on the Philadelphia Flower Show’s main Flower Show exhibit floor, providing prominent exposure for the floral industry. The studio features demonstrations, artistic displays, and lively interactive competitions, all focused on floral design.
Thank you to the American Horticultural Society for underwriting my Designer’s Studio presentation! My SLOW FLOWERS presentation will feature the following highlights:
#1 American-grown flowers! Given the time of year, we’ll mostly feature flowers and foliages from California, Oregon and Florida, but you can be sure I’ll pack a case of goodies from the PNW to check on my Seattle-to-Philadelphia flight!
#2 Sustainable design mechanics, including USA-made vessels.
These are positive messages that audiences of Philadelphia Flower Show need to learn about!
BONUS: After my demo on the Designers’ Studio stage, I’ve been invited to also be a contestant at the 5 p.m. design competition, held on the same stage. You can learn more here.
